On June 3, 2022, the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units of the CIS Member States (CIS CHFIUs) was held in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) under the chairmanship of the Director of Rosfinmonitoring Yu. Chikhanchin.
The meeting participants discussed the development of the "Synergy" Information Sharing System between the financial intelligence units of the CIS member states, heard the FIU reports of the CIS CHFIUs member states on the measures taken in the field of countering the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism.
In his speech, the First Deputy General Director of the ITMCFM — Director of the International Network AML/CFT Institute, V. Ovchinnikov, told about the creation of the center for the “Sodruzhestvo” service scientific and educational platform.
Within the framework of the 19th meeting of the CIS CHFIUs, new goals were set for the inter-sessional period, and the dates of the next meeting of the Council were determined.
